Tam-awan Village. The native village of the arts.

Hidden from the busy Session Road is the rich cultural heritage of Baguio. Nope, you don't have to go up Cordillera mountains to find it. It's just nearby. Calling you. "This is the real Baguio before the Americans came. Not Burnham Park."

The White House.

I live near this house. One time passing by, I met a group of tourists taking selfies. Me: "Bakit daw ba haunted house ito?" Tourists : "Kasi may white lady daw nagpapakita." Me: "White lady?" Tourists : "Opo, kasi white house nga." Okay. Now the legend has another twist.

The bet to finish Kennon Road.

Bet you didn't know this. The 40-kilometer Kennon Road in the 1900s was built in just 18 months. Then Governor General Forbes challenged the builder that he cannot finish it on time. A proud military guy, Kennon accepted the bet. And won.
